- TO SCHEDULE AN OUTPATIENT NEUROSURGICAL VISIT:
ITALIAN PATIENTS: To schedule a neurosurgery consultation with Dr Veronesi, please call the AUSL Romagna private practice hotline at 800 00 44 88, Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm, and on Saturdays and the day before public holidays from 7:30 am to 1:30 pm. Consultations will take place at the Hospital “Degli Infermi” in Faenza (THIS NUMBER IS NOT ACTIVE FOR INTERNATIONAL CALLS).
INTERNATIONAL PATIENTS: International patients wishing to schedule an OUTPATIENT NEUROSURGICAL VISIT are invited to send an email to veronesi.secondopinion+outpatient_booking@gmail.com
- TO BOOK A SURGERY:
ITALIAN PATIENTS: For surgical treatment, in addition to booking using the appropriate form with the Italian National Health System and registering on institutional waiting lists at no cost to the patient, it is also possible to have surgery performed in private practice, with the cost borne by the patient or their insurance.
For surgery booked in private practice, this type of hospitalisation cannot be included on the National Health System's institutional waiting lists.
INTERNATIONAL PATIENTS: PATIENTS WHO ARE NOT RESIDENT IN ITALY CAN UNDERGO PRIVATE SURGERY AT THEIR OWN EXPENSE OR OBTAIN FORM S2 (EX E112) RELATING TO REGULATION (EC) NO. 883/2004 FOR CROSS-BORDER TREATMENT IN EUROPE FROM THEIR COUNTRY'S MEDICAL COMMISSION. In this case, they will not have to bear any costs.
